Best of the City 

This annual magazine is a celebration of local businesses and hot spots in Greater Victoria. BC residents can vote for their favourite places, from sports and recreation to best Sunday brunch. The finalists for each category feature in the publication, which is distributed over the Greater Victoria area.​​

I was honoured to be given the opportunity to design this front cover. It's always a joy to see my work in print, especially on such a large scale.

Even though I had lived in Victoria for around 8 years, I still felt a bit like a tourist, so it was great to showcase my take on Victoria, in an illustration.

The magazine was launched in July, 2022, and it was fantastic to see all the Best of Victoria winners being presented with their awards and their copies of the magazine.
